1 in 8 Billion shared lives and memorials: how sharing works

A careful guide to shared lives, pause ages and memorial sharing in 1 in 8 Billion, with privacy boundaries for names and personal details.

Edited by EarlyWiki Editorial Desk · checked Nov 4, 2026

Shared-life notes · checked Nov 4, 2026The official About page describes same-second companion lives, pause ages and sharing options. It does not turn a shared run into a real relationship or personal prediction.

What is a shared life?

The official project describes lives that can begin in the same second, creating a companion-style way to compare two simulations. Use the official interface for the current invite or sharing action; EarlyWiki is not adding an account or matchmaking claim that the project does not publish.

Pause ages called out by the project

The current About page names pauses at ages 5, 15, 30, 50 and 70. These are intentional comparison points in the simulation, not a guarantee that every run will display the same event or outcome.

Share carefully

  1. Share only the game card or memorial you are comfortable making public.
  2. Remove real names, contact details, private screenshots and account identifiers before posting.
  3. Label the result as a simulated life and include the build date if you compare it later.
  4. Do not use a shared-life result as medical, financial or relationship advice.
