Day one: map the basics
Before chasing a perfect build, identify the game’s main surfaces: movement, work, needs, housing and the phone or menu system. Write down what the current interface actually shows and ignore old screenshots that no longer match.
Days two and three: make one repeatable loop
Choose one activity you understand and repeat it long enough to see the cost, time and reward. A useful route is one you can explain: what it costs to start, what can interrupt it and what you do next.
- Keep a small buffer for travel or everyday needs.
- Separate in-game currency from real-world spending decisions.
- Record the date when you copy any value into a personal note.
Days four to seven: compare, don’t copy
Once you understand one loop, compare another. That gives the desk a more honest basis for a tier list: usefulness depends on time, risk, access and the player’s goal.
Better than a fake “fastest” claim: tell readers what was observed, when it was observed and what could make the result different.
