The Hollow Floor 8 puzzle: The Overseer, five objects and Rotten Pumpkin

A version-aware Floor 8 walkthrough for The Hollow: find the random puzzle room, place five objects and return the relic while The Overseer hunts you.

Night 8 / The Overseer reported · puzzle route reportedRoblox confirms The Overseer as a participating monster. The current schedule maps it to Night 8, while the object order and room route below come from independent walkthroughs, not a Roblox step-by-step document.

What you need to finish

Night 8 is associated with The Overseer from WARDEN. The reported Floor 8 route uses five objects: Candle, Skull, Bottle, Lantern and Bell. The live game may label an object differently, so follow the name shown in your current room.

  1. Take the hub elevator to Floor 8 and remember where the elevator is.
  2. Search for the randomly placed puzzle room. The independent walkthrough reports bright-blue pedestals across the floor.
  3. Find the table near the bridge and pick up one object. You can carry only one at a time.
  4. Carry it to its matching glowing pedestal and place it.
  5. Repeat for the other four objects while avoiding The Overseer.
  6. When all five are placed, take the Floor 8 relic back to the elevator to claim the Rotten Pumpkin reward and badge.

Make the run safer

  • Identify the elevator before carrying the first object; the maze route is easier to recover when you know the exit.
  • Choose the closest pedestal first when the room layout allows it.
  • Do not assume the object room or pedestal order is fixed between runs.
  • The walkthrough reports that being caught resets the floor attempt; confirm the live objective after a failed run rather than relying on an old checkpoint.

Evidence and limits

The official Roblox event announcement confirms the nine-night event, and the dated event schedule records Night 8 as The Overseer. The detailed five-object walkthrough is cross-checked against TechWiser’s Floor 8 guide. Exact room positions are not treated as permanent facts.
