Cut a Rock Index and auras: how the collection system works

What the Index tracks

The current gameplay summary says the Index records your finds. Completing entries unlocks powerful auras and can also be part of anvil access. That creates two useful goals: collect the material you need for the next upgrade, then fill gaps that unlock a new multiplier or route.

1. Open the Index before selling a new find so you know whether it is a missing entry.
2. Record the rock, hidden material and floor together.
3. Check whether the next anvil requirement counts entries, not only money or Power.
4. Confirm the aura effect in the live UI before calling it a damage, speed or income bonus.

The current tracker source reports a 200x anvil requirement tied to 24 Index entries. Treat that as a dated public report and verify the exact requirement in the current game before spending for it.
