What Daily Mutation changes
The release tracker records Daily Mutation in v0.8.61 and a reporting and frame fix in v0.8.62. It is a solo Classic challenge: the same map and modifier set applies to everyone for that day, while Bag items and co-op are disabled.
Reset time and the four modifiers
The daily challenge resets at 00:00 UTC, which is 08:00 in Beijing. The current guide identifies four rotating modifiers: Metronome, Dynamax Wilds, Candy Fever and Crystal. They rotate, so use the in-game screen for today’s actual combination.
- Metronome: one attack can change into a random League attack every 30 seconds.
- Dynamax Wilds: wild Pokémon become larger and tougher, while bosses do not receive the same changes.
- Candy Fever: experience and Pokédollars increase, but enemies scale faster.
- Crystal: health is reduced while damage is doubled, making avoidance more important.
Rewards and ranking
The announced daily milestones total up to 300 Stardust: 60 for zone 2, 60 for zone 3, 60 for the sanctuary and 120 for a win. Each mutation also has permanent cosmetic rewards, and the leaderboard compares the furthest progress first, then knockouts.
These are release-note claims, not a promise of a universal best build. Pick a League partner whose first attack you understand, then adapt to the current modifier instead of copying yesterday’s route.
