How to start a team pause
The update report says a co-op player can start a team pause by pressing P or opening the pause menu. The reported total is five minutes per run, so treat the budget as a shared resource rather than a reason to pause every wave.
- Tell the team why the pause is needed before spending it.
- Press P or open the in-game pause menu.
- Check the visible remaining time and resume deliberately.
- Record the mode and build if the team sees a different limit.
Protection bubbles are now a reserve
Co-op protection changed to a reserve-based system in the report. That means the useful question is no longer only “is the bubble active?”—it is how much reserve remains and when the team should spend it. The update report does not provide a verified refill rate or maximum, so EarlyWiki will not add one.
Other fixes to check
- Reconnect: try returning to the same session after a deliberate connection interruption and note whether the run state survives.
- Find a Match: if matchmaking still stalls, record the region, mode and exact screen rather than retrying a copied fix.
- Save & Quit: the report says explored map progress is retained; reopen the run and confirm the explored area before relying on it.
- Stuck: the pause menu now includes a Stuck option for a player or camera state that cannot recover normally.
Keep the report reproducible
Use the same account and build for both sides of a comparison. A screenshot of a pause menu proves the control exists; it does not prove how a five-minute budget is shared or how a reserve bubble refills.
