PokéBonk Season 3: GEN 2, Version 0.9 and the November 4 roadmap

What the official PokéBonk news post confirms for Season 3 / Version 0.9, what remains unannounced and when Season 2 ends.

Planned for Nov 4 · current build v0.8.83The official announcement describes a Version 0.9 / Season 3 target. GEN 2 is planned, not live on this page.

What the official Season 3 post confirms

PokéBonk creator Charcher says updates will slow down until Nov 4 while the project prepares Version 0.9 (Season 3). The post names these planned areas:

  • GEN 2: the Johto generation is planned for the new season.
  • Rebalance: GEN 1 and Legendary Pokémon are planned to receive a broad balance pass.
  • Fusion: the Fusion system is planned to be reworked.
  • New event: a seasonal event is planned.
  • Four maps: the announcement describes four new Kanto and Johto maps.

The creator says major bug fixes may still ship during the slower update period. This page intentionally does not turn the announcement into a complete GEN 2 roster, map list, move table, Fusion recipe list or strength ranking: none of those details are confirmed in the post.

When does Season 2 end?

The current schedule points to Nov 4 at 17:30 UTC, which is Nov 5 at 01:30 in Beijing. Treat that as the Season 2 cutoff shown in the current announcement context, not as a guarantee that every region will see the same client transition at the same second.

Version 0.9 is announced for Nov 4, but the official post does not provide a precise launch minute. Keep the live game and its current news feed open if you are planning a Season 2 finish or a first look at GEN 2.

What to record when v0.9 goes live

  1. Record the visible version number and the local time of the first successful load.
  2. Check which GEN 2 entries, maps, event rules and Fusion screens are actually available.
  3. Separate release-day content from later hotfixes or balance adjustments.
  4. Do not copy a leaked roster, reward, probability or tier placement without a source and a build date.
